Top Tips for Families at the LEGO Festival

First-time festival visitors always have the best day when they have a loose and flexible plan. Here’s what makes the biggest difference for a big family festival day at LEGOLAND Florida:

  • Download the App – get the LEGOLAND App for live ride wait times, festival zone maps, character meet-and-greet schedules, and dining options.

  • Arrive early – getting to the Park at opening means less wait times for rides and attractions, and more time enjoying the festival experience.

  • Visit your must-do festival zones first – trying to see all five themed zones in one go with young children could mean a stressful rush! Pick your favorites first and come back to the others later.

  • Don’t miss the rides – LEGO Festival is just one part of your visit! Factor in time for Galacticoaster, The Dragon, Driving School and other epic rides and attractions.

  • Plan your breaks – A Florida family festival in July and August gets hot! Build in rest stops for kids and try to take lunch before 1 p.m. when food counters have shorter lines.

Water Park During LEGO Festival

LEGOLAND Water Park is open daily throughout the LEGO Festival, and it’s one of the perfect things to do with kids this summer. Cool off in the LEGO Wave Pool, race down the water slides, and float along the Build-a-Raft Lazy River as a family.

Combining a hot summer festival experience with a Water Park visit is one of the smartest ways to plan your day. The park tends to be busiest at midday, so heading to the Water Park for a couple of hours in the afternoon is a great different activity for kids.
