You can also bring that creativity beyond the screen with Halloween-themed LEGO building projects and a visit to Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort in Winter Haven, Florida.

Whether you're planning a Halloween movie night, looking for a new LEGO-themed activity for the kids or organizing a fall family getaway, here's where to start.

What Are the Best LEGO Halloween Movies and Specials?

Several LEGO animated movies and specials feature Halloween themes, monsters, ghosts or spooky adventures. Not every title is an official Halloween special, but these options offer different ways for families to enjoy brick-built storytelling during the season.

Availability varies by title and streaming service, so check your preferred platform for current viewing options.

1. LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales

For families who love Star Wars and Halloween, LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales is a natural place to start.

Released in 2021, this animated special combines the LEGO Star Wars universe with eerie storytelling. After the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Poe Dameron and BB-8 encounter a mysterious setting where they hear unsettling stories connected to the galaxy's dark side.

The special brings together familiar Star Wars characters, LEGO humor and Halloween-inspired storytelling. It is a seasonal option for families who want something a little more mysterious than a typical LEGO adventure.

Best for: Families who enjoy Star Wars, animated adventures and spooky stories.

2. LEGO Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood

Mysteries and monsters are a classic Halloween combination, making LEGO Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood another title to consider.

Released in 2016, the animated movie follows Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang as they investigate strange happenings associated with a Hollywood movie studio. The story combines the gang's detective work with LEGO animation, comedy and monster-themed encounters.

It is a good choice for families who enjoy solving mysteries together and trying to figure out what is really happening before the characters uncover the answer.

Best for: Scooby-Doo fans, mystery lovers and families looking for a monster-themed movie night.

3. LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape

For kids who prefer dinosaurs to ghosts, LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape offers another kind of creature adventure.

Originally released as a series of web shorts in 2016 and compiled into a short animated special, the story features the LEGO Jurassic World setting and the formidable Indominus rex.

Although it is not specifically a Halloween movie, its dinosaurs, action and creature-focused storyline make it a possible addition to a broader LEGO monster and adventure watchlist.

Best for: Dinosaur enthusiasts and families who prefer action-packed adventures to supernatural stories.

4. LEGO NINJAGO: Day of the Departed

LEGO NINJAGO fans can also explore Day of the Departed, a 2016 television special with supernatural themes.

The story brings the ninja heroes into an adventure involving their past enemies. Its focus on returning villains and supernatural elements makes it a seasonal option for fans who enjoy stories about mysterious happenings and heroic battles.

It is not a traditional Halloween movie, but it can complement a watchlist built around LEGO adventures with a spooky atmosphere.

Best for: LEGO NINJAGO fans who enjoy action, fantasy and supernatural storylines.

Are There LEGO Halloween Episodes and YouTube Shorts?

Yes. Beyond full-length movies and television specials, LEGO-themed entertainment includes shorter animated adventures, web videos and collections that can fit into a family Halloween movie night.

Official LEGO video channels and franchise-related collections are useful starting points when looking for short brick-built stories. You can also explore Halloween-themed videos featuring familiar LEGO characters, monsters, creative builds and seasonal storytelling.

When searching, try these phrases:

• LEGO Halloween shorts

• LEGO spooky stories

• LEGO Halloween animation

• LEGO monster videos

• LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales

• LEGO Scooby-Doo! Haunted Hollywood

• LEGO NINJAGO: Day of the Departed

Some videos are original LEGO productions, while others are fan-made stop-motion animations. Check the channel and video details to distinguish official releases from fan creations.

Short videos are particularly useful when you want to keep younger children entertained without committing to a full movie. Pair a short LEGO video with a building activity, a Halloween snack or a family costume night for a simple seasonal tradition.

Does LEGO Have Halloween Sets?

Yes. LEGO has released Halloween-themed building sets and seasonal products over the years, including sets inspired by Halloween decorations, haunted houses, skeletons, witches, pumpkins and other spooky designs. The available selection changes over time.

You do not need a dedicated Halloween set to create your own LEGO Halloween display. A collection of bricks and minifigures can become the foundation for a seasonal building challenge.

LEGO Halloween Building Ideas for Kids

Try one of these creative projects at home:

Build a haunted house. Use dark-colored bricks, unusual windows and imaginative details to create a mysterious house. Add a garden, a gate or a path leading to the entrance.

Create a LEGO monster. Challenge everyone in the family to build a friendly monster using the bricks they already have. Give each creation a name and invent a short backstory.

Design a Halloween trick-or-treat scene. Build a neighborhood with decorated houses, costumed minifigures, candy buckets and a pumpkin display.

Make a brick-built pumpkin patch. Use orange, green and brown bricks to create pumpkins in different shapes and sizes. Add a scarecrow or a tiny farm stand to complete the scene.

Invent a spooky mystery. Build a setting with clues, hidden objects and a few suspicious characters. Let the rest of the family solve the mystery.

These activities encourage kids to experiment with designs and stories while making use of bricks they already own.

Families can also look for currently available LEGO Halloween sets through authorized retailers. Since seasonal inventory changes, confirm product availability before making a special trip to shop.
