Brick or Treat is back! LEGOLAND® California Resort is home to one of the biggest Halloween parties each year. Running on select dates each fall, it’s an event the whole family is sure to love. This guide covers everything you need to know to plan your visit, from what time Brick or Treat starts to whether you need a separate ticket. Get ready for a Halloween event you’ll remember forever!

What Is Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND?

Brick or Treat is LEGOLAND California Resort’s annual family-friendly Halloween celebration. We transform five areas of the resort into themed zones filled with trick-or-treating, LEGO® character meet-and-greets, live shows and rides, all included with standard park admission.

The five event zones for 2026 are:

  • Monster Band Boulevard: Meet the Green Witch, Monster Rocker, Tiger Woman and Mummy, then catch the Skeleton Brass Band performing spooky tunes live!

  • Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch in Dino Valley: Say hello to the Scarecrow and the LEGO T-Rex Guy among the pumpkins.

  • Monster Scientist Not-So-Secret Laboratory in the Imagination Zone: Meet the Monster Scientist and take on the Mad Scientist Lab Supplies Scavenger Hunt.

  • Zombie University in Fun Town: Catch the Zombie Cheer Crew’s interactive pep rally and the Driving Ghoulz driving school takeover.

  • Creatures of the Kingdom at Castle Hill: Meet Spider Lady, watch Once Upon a Brick: The Tale of the Wolf Guy, and ride the Disco Dragon Coaster.

When Does Brick or Treat Start?

Brick or Treat runs across 12 dates in fall 2026, with trick-or-treating and event entertainment starting mid-afternoon.

2026 Event Dates

Brick or Treat takes place on the following 12 dates:

  • September 19 and 26

  • October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31

  • November 1

Start Times

What time does Brick or Treat start? The park opens earlier for regular rides and attractions, but Brick or Treat’s candy stations and event atmosphere officially start at 3:00 PM and run until park close.

Admission & Pricing: How Much Is Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND?

Brick or Treat is included with standard park admission on event dates, so there’s no extra charge to take part. Every guest receives a FREE treat bag and an event guide, plus the chance to collect exclusive “Surprise and Delight” pop badges from park staff.

Booking tickets online and in advance is the best way to guarantee entry, as event dates can sell out.

Is Brick or Treat a Separate Ticket?

No. Any valid day ticket for an event date includes access to all Brick or Treat activities once they begin at 3:00 PM.

What to Expect: Treats, Shows and Costumes

Beyond trick-or-treating, Brick or Treat fills the park with boo-tastic live entertainment, character meet-and-greets, ride overlays and a costume contest. You can also enjoy:

Trick-or-Treat Trails & Candy Stations

Candy stations are set up across each of the five event zones, so you can collect treats as you explore the park.

The Monster Rock Off

A 25-minute battle-of-the-bands headliner show on the Miniland Lawn Stage.

Zombie Cheer Crew

A 13-minute interactive pep rally at the Fun Town Stage.

Once Upon a Brick: The Tale of the Wolf Guy

A 15-minute storytelling show on the Castle Stage.

Skeleton Brass Band

A 15-minute musical performance at The Beginning.

The Great Monster Chase

A 12-minute 4D movie at the LEGO® Showplace Theater.

The V.I.M. Costume Contest

Enter Lord Vampyre’s Very Important Monster (V.I.M.) costume contest for a chance to be crowned the best-dressed monster in the park.

Sign-ups open at 10:00 AM at the Miniland Info Booth. Categories include Best Monster, Best Homemade and Best Group. There’s also a Junior category for ages 0–6, which features its own Best Space Themed award!

Limited-Time Specialty Treats

Seasonal menu items will be available throughout the event, including the Witch’s Brew Ramen, the Monster Mash Burger on black buns, Creepy Crawly Apple Fries topped with matcha soft-serve and the Spider Bite Sundae.

Guests 21 and over can also try the Witch's Blood Margarita.
