Brick or Treat is back at LEGOLAND® California Resort for select dates this fall, bringing family-friendly Halloween fun to the Park with trick-or-treating, LEGO® monster meet-and-greets, live entertainment, costume contests, seasonal attractions and interactive experiences.

The 2026 celebration introduces the all-new Brick or Treat Street, featuring six life-sized LEGO® Monster homes and a new Halloween interactive light trail. Families can also enjoy returning Halloween favorites, seasonal food and drinks, Halloween LEGO® décor, photo opportunities and candy stations throughout the Park.

What Is Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND?

Brick or Treat is LEGOLAND California Resort's annual family-friendly Halloween celebration. On select dates throughout fall, the Park adds Halloween-themed entertainment, LEGO® monster characters, trick-or-treating, costume contests, seasonal attractions and interactive activities.

The event is designed to be not-too-scary, making it a Halloween experience for families with children ages 2–12.

Brick or Treat is included with valid admission on event dates. Guests staying at LEGOLAND California Resort hotels with a stay that falls on a Brick or Treat event date also receive the event with their eligible vacation package.

When Is Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND California?

Brick or Treat takes place on 12 select dates in 2026:

Brick or Treat activities take place during regular Park operating hours. Because event entertainment and experiences can vary, check the official event guide and LEGOLAND California mobile app on the day of your visit for the latest schedule and locations.

How Much Does Brick or Treat Cost?

Brick or Treat is included with valid dated admission for an event date. Guests do not need to purchase a separate event ticket when using a valid admission ticket dated for a Brick or Treat day.

LEGOLAND Vacations tickets for guests staying at LEGOLAND California Resort hotels on Brick or Treat dates also include the event.

Annual Passholder admission depends on the type of pass.

Premium and Elite Annual Passholders receive free admission to Brick or Treat event dates and do not need to purchase a separate Brick or Treat ticket.

Active Silver, Gold, Platinum, Standard and Preferred Annual Passholders must purchase the dedicated Brick or Treat Passholder Ticket for admission.

The Passholder Brick or Treat Ticket includes one-day admission to LEGOLAND Theme Park, SEA LIFE® Aquarium, Water Park and Brick or Treat on the selected event date. Passholder Brick or Treat tickets start from $24 per person.

Check the current ticket and Annual Pass information before your visit because admission requirements can vary by pass type.

What Can You Do at Brick or Treat?

There is more to Brick or Treat than trick-or-treating. Throughout the Park, families can find live shows, LEGO® monster characters, costume contests, Halloween-themed attractions, interactive builds, seasonal food and drinks, and Halloween décor.

Here are some of the experiences to look for during your visit.

Trick-or-Treating Throughout the Park

Of course, candy is one of the biggest parts of Brick or Treat.

Candy stations are located throughout LEGOLAND California Resort, giving families opportunities to collect treats as they explore the Park.

Look for LEGO® Skeleton Guy or use the official event guide to find the candy stations.

Trick-or-treating is happily supported by HARIBO®.

A paper trick-or-treat bag is provided at the event check-in table in MINILAND, although the exact location may change. Guests can also purchase a reusable Brick or Treat themed bag at select retail locations throughout the Park.

Families may bring their own trick-or-treat bags or baskets as long as they comply with the Park's standard bag-check policy. Rolling bags or bags with wheels are not permitted.

Please note that allergy-friendly treat options are not currently available during trick-or-treating. Candy may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat and soy. Guests with specific allergen questions can visit the Event Booth in MINILAND or Guest Services.

Live Shows and Entertainment

Brick or Treat includes live entertainment and Halloween-themed shows throughout the Park.

The Monster Rock Off

Dance and sing along with the LEGO® Monsters of Rock during The Monster Rock Off. The show brings favorite monster characters together for an energetic musical experience featuring rock 'n' roll hits and guitar riffs.

Zombie Cheer Crew

Head to the Fun Town Stage for the Zombie Cheer Crew's interactive pep rally. Families can join the Halloween-themed fun as the zombie cheerleaders take over the stage.

Once Upon a Brick: The Tale of the Wolf Guy

Head to Castle Hill to watch the story of Wolf Guy unfold in Once Upon a Brick: The Tale of the Wolf Guy.

Skeleton Brass Band

Keep an ear out for the Skeleton Brass Band as they perform spine-tingling tunes during Brick or Treat.

The Great Monster Chase

The Great Monster Chase is a 4D movie adventure at the LEGO® Showplace Theater. Follow four LEGO® tweens as they try to sneak into the Monster Party while experiencing thrilling effects and silly scares.

All-New Brick or Treat Street

One of the biggest additions to Brick or Treat in 2026 is the all-new Brick or Treat Street.

This interactive trick-or-treat experience features six life-sized LEGO® Monster homes inspired by fan-favorite LEGO® Minifigures.

Families can explore the street, visit the monster homes and discover what tricks, bricks and treats are waiting behind each door.

The homes include characters such as Wacky Witch, Wolf Guy, Spider Lady, Mummy, Plant Monster and Scarecrow.

Brick or Treat Street also features a new Halloween interactive light trail with tricks and visual treats throughout, adding another layer of Halloween atmosphere to the experience.

Scarecrow's Barn

One of the experiences along Brick or Treat Street is Scarecrow's Barn. Help the friendly Scarecrow prove he can scare away his cheeky feathered friend by striking a funny pose and shouting your loudest scare before collecting a LEGO® brick for the next adventure.

New Potion Mischief Light Trail

After dark, step into the Potion Mischief Light Trail and explore an enchanted forest where magical potions come to life.

Interactive stations let guests mix colorful combinations, transform the forest with dazzling lights and discover playful surprises along the way.

The experience adds an atmospheric Halloween element to Brick or Treat without relying on traditional scary imagery.

Climb aboard Ghost Cruise as the classic Coast Cruise gets a Halloween transformation.

Help LEGO® Scarecrow complete a giant Halloween mural.

Find your LEGO® mural piece on Brick or Treat Street, fill it with the correct LEGO® bricks and add your creation to the larger Halloween mural featuring Scarecrow and fellow LEGO® Monsters.

Wacky Witch's Missing Potion Scavenger Hunt

Wacky Witch has lost her potions and needs help finding them.

Search throughout MINILAND USA for all seven missing potions. Guests who complete the scavenger hunt can receive this year's commemorative LEGO® brick.

Stop by the Monster Security Checkpoint and see whether you can pass the Park's Halloween-themed inspection.

Spider Lady's Spiderling Build

Join Spider Lady's web of wonders and build your own LEGO® spider creation to add to her web.

Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch

Head to Dino Valley for the Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch, where LEGO® T-Rex Guy transforms the area into his own fall festival.

Be sure to look for LEGO® Scarecrow and T-Rex Guy while enjoying the seasonal experience and treats.

LEGO® Halloween Tree

Look for the 17-foot LEGO® Halloween Tree, made from 680,963 LEGO® bricks.

The tree features twinkling lights, cobwebs, ghosts, playful pumpkins and fun surprises, making it a festive photo opportunity during the Halloween celebration.

Halloween Spaceship Elements for Galacticoaster

Galacticoaster gets a seasonal upgrade during the fall.

For a limited time, guests can select Halloween-inspired customization elements for the ride, including designs inspired by the LEGO® Monsters Fighters theme, nods to previous Halloween LEGO® sets and a classic Jack-O-Lantern hood ornament.

It is a seasonal way to experience Galacticoaster with an added Halloween twist.

The V.I.M. Costume Contest

Costumes are a big part of Brick or Treat, and families can participate in Lord Vampyre's Very Important Monster, or V.I.M., costume contest.

Sign-ups open at 10:00 a.m. at the MINILAND Info Booth.

Contest categories include:

There is also a Junior category for children ages 0–6, with a showtime at 1:00 p.m.

Brick or Treat also brings limited-time Halloween food and beverages to LEGOLAND California Resort.

Seasonal offerings include:

• Midnight Monster Burger on black buns

• Pumpkin Patch Apple Fries topped with creamy vanilla soft-serve

• Bride of Bricks Stuffed Churros

• Harvest Moon Sangria for guests ages 21 and over

Additional Halloween-inspired drinks and limited-time menu items are available throughout the Park during Brick or Treat.

What Should You Know About Costumes?

Guests are welcome to dress up for Brick or Treat, but costume rules apply.

Full masks are permitted only for children. Adults may wear partial masks as long as the mask does not cover the entire face.

For ride safety, guests may be asked to remove masks or face coverings on attractions where hats or loose items are not permitted.

Toy weapons made from plastic or other hard materials are not permitted, and realistic toy guns are strictly prohibited. Foam weapons and fantasy-style props that are clearly part of a costume, such as themed toy swords or blasters, are allowed.

Some costume accessories cannot be worn on rides. Loose items such as capes, backpacks, swords, jet packs and other back or waist accessories are not permitted on rides. Inflatable costumes are also not permitted. Headwear must be removed on rides where hats are not allowed, and wireless accessories are not permitted because they may interfere with ride mechanics.

Is Brick or Treat Family-Friendly?

Brick or Treat is designed for families with children ages 2–12 and features not-too-scary Halloween activities.

Along with trick-or-treating and Halloween décor, families can enjoy LEGO® monster characters, interactive experiences, live entertainment, seasonal attractions and costume activities.
