Staying here means your room is just steps from the park entrance, with plenty to do after the park closes. The hotel has a heated pool, an outdoor theatre, and a big playground, plus character shows and a restaurant — and on the other side, two more restaurants, an indoor ship playground, a kids' dance club, and an arcade.

The rooms are great too: a queen bed on one side and a separate space with bunk beds for the kids. A treasure hunt lets you follow clues to unlock a code and open a chest of LEGO sets in your room to keep. My kids love it, and so does the rest of the family.

After a day at the theme park, we walked straight over to the hotel for check-in, which was quick and easy. We grabbed dinner at a nearby Panda Express, though there's on-site dining too if you'd rather stay in.

Our room was mostly clean, and the kids loved having their own sleeping area. The pool was closed for cleaning during our stay, but the kids still had a blast at the evening dance party with a DJ. There's also an arcade and spaces for kids to build and meet other children.

The next morning's breakfast buffet at Bricks was the best part of the trip, and we'll definitely be back.

The whole hotel is themed, colourful, and full of surprises for kids. Breakfast is included and offers a great variety for adults and children alike — a great way to start the day before heading into the park.

Our favourite part was the in-room treasure hunt: scan a QR code, search the hotel for answers to a series of clues, and unlock the treasure chest once you've solved them all. Ours held two LEGO sets, and our daughter couldn't have been happier.
