What To Wear To The Theme Park

For the ideal LEGOLAND® outfit, you should prioritise comfort, practicality and breathability for a day of outdoor fun at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. We suggest that you wear: Supportive, closed-toe shoes for rides and walking. Breathable layers in accordance with the weather. Appropriate, family-friendly clothing (no swimwear is permitted outside of LEGOLAND® Water Park).

What To Wear To The Water Park

For a safe way to make a splash at LEGOLAND® Water Park, everyone is required to wear the following attire as part of the LEGOLAND® Water Park dress code: Appropriate, fully-lined swimwear. Practical footwear like sandals and flip-flops should be worn when entering, exiting and walking around LEGOLAND® Water Park (these will need to be removed to use the rides). Swim diapers for children aged 3 years or younger.

LEGOLAND® Dress Code and What Not To Bring

Here at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, we want to create an unforgettable experience for all to enjoy and aim to guarantee a day of family-friendly fun. Therefore, we require that a LEGOLAND® dress code be followed, and certain items be prohibited from being brought into the Park. Please refer to the following:

Clothing Restrictions:

• Clothing with suggestive, explicit or insulting messages or graphics is prohibited.
• Clothing that poses a safety risk can also lead to denial of entry. 
• Indecent attire is not permitted inside the Resort.

Restricted items:

• Any item deemed to be a weapon.
• Fireworks and/or smoke bombs.
• Glass bottles or other articles that may cause injury and/or be deemed offensive or dangerous.
• Sharp objects or anything considered a security risk, including knives, penknives, scissors, corkscrews, metal nail files, toy or replica guns.
• Alcohol
• Illegal substances and/or legal highs.
• Skateboards, scooters, and rollerblades.

LEGOLAND® Dress Code and What Not To Bring

As LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is based in the sunshine state, temperatures can soar throughout the summer, while thundery showers can occur in rainy seasons. Here are some tips to prepare for the weather and LEGOLAND® outfit ideas to keep you cool, warm or dry. Be sure to check the weather forecast for the day to plan what to wear. 

Hide from the heat: As many of our exciting rides are located outside, make sure you have adequate sun protection for the day. This includes a sun hat to cover your face and neck, a pair of UV-protected sunglasses, and enough sunscreen to go around for the whole day.

Ride out the rain: If the weather forecast shows heavy rain, ensure you have the right gear to keep dry. This includes a rainproof jacket, appropriate footwear, quick-drying clothing or a spare change of clothes. You are also permitted to bring a compact umbrella into the park.

Keep warm in cooler weather: Are you wondering what to wear in Florida during the cooler months? For early mornings and evenings and in cooler seasons, we recommend warm outerwear, layers, longer shorts or trousers, and appropriate footwear.
