LEGOLAND New York Resort is open rain or shine! While we can guarantee a memorable experience, we unfortunately cannot control the weather. If a portion of our rides and attractions are closed for an extended period due to inclement weather, Resort Management will activate our "Rainy Day / Inclement Weather Policy." If the policy is activated, guests will be able to use their existing ticket for one (1) more visit within one (1) calendar year from that date. Please note, this does not apply to Passholders or Education Groups.
No refunds will be issued.
LEGOLAND New York Resort is in the Hudson Valley which experiences seasonal changes. Occasionally the varied seasonal temperatures will impact our operation. Seasonal closures will be posted on our Seasonal Closures page. We monitor temperatures continually through our onsite central safety and security base.

Lightning:
Your safety is our number one priority. When lightning is in the area, we adhere to these ride procedures to ensure everyone stays out of harm’s way.
Lightning within 15 miles; These rides will be CLOSED until the lightning is no longer in range.

- Palace 4D Cinema
Lightning within LESS Than 5 miles; ALL attractions will be closed.
Heat:
We monitor temperatures continually through our onsite central security base. On occasion, certain attractions may be closed due to hot surfaces. This will be on a case- by -case basis and will be posted at the attraction level. Should the heat index reach 110 degrees for a sustained period of time, our Resort Duty Mangement will activate the Rainy Day / Inclement Weather Policy.
Cold:
