Arriving to Your Hotel

The LEGOLAND® Hotel and Castle Hotel entrance is at One LEGOLAND Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008.


When you arrive at the LEGOLAND welcome gate, simply scan your barrier pass QR code that was included within your travel documents to gain access into the parking lot.

  • For easy re-entry into the parking lot during your stay, scan the barrier pass QR code each time. 
  • Parking will be charged upon check out unless pre-purchased during reservation.

Hotel Parking Rates:

  • Hotel Self Parking: $35
  • Hotel Overnight Valet: $50
  • Annual Pass Hotel Overnight Valet: $30
  • Day Valet: $70

All parking rates listed are per night / per day.


Checking In:

  • Self-Check-In: Avoid the rush! Complete your pre-check-in and be notified by text or email when your room is ready. Once you receive the QR code, visit our Self-Check-In kiosks to check into your room and start your stay!
  • Check-in is after 4:00 PM. We do our best to prepare our rooms as quickly as possible for you! However, due to high occupancy, rooms will not likely be available until after 4:00 PM. 
  • All travel documents, including tickets you may have purchased, will be sent via email 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date.
    • To upload your tickets to the LEGOLAND California mobile app for easy Park access, download the app and use the order number found on your ticket.
  • A nightly Resort Fee of $30 + tax will be charged upon arrival.
    • Resort Fee includes nightly in-room refreshments, nightly surprises for the kids, luggage service, standard wireless internet, exclusive experiences, and local and domestic long-distance phone calls.
  • Valid credit card for incidental charges and photo ID are required at check in. $100 per day is pre-authorized for incidentals.



  • All stays include complimentary breakfast. LEGOLAND Hotel Guests will dine at Bricks Family Restaurant and LEGOLAND Castle Hotel guests will dine at Dragon’s Den for the complimentary breakfast. FREE breakfast not applicable on day of arrival.

Helpful Info For Your Stay

Castle Hotel Energy Saving Rooms: Insert one room key into the key-slot next to the room entry door to activate the room's power.

Night Light: Night lights are located next to each bunkbed. At Castle Hotel, turn on the Starry Night Feature by flipping the switch on the side of the TV.

Quiet Time: We are a Family Friendly hotel with lots of tired little ones. Please respect your neighbors during the Quiet Hours of 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Thermostat: Our thermostats run on a quiet system, please allow 15-30 minutes to reach the set temperature.



Wi-Fi: No Password required. Just Logon to LEGOLAND Guest.

Fitness Centers: The fitness centers are located on the 1st floor of the LEGOLAND® Hotel and the 3rd floor of the Castle Hotel. Both are open 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

Hotel Pool: Towels are available at the pool deck for the pool and Waterpark. (No towels are provided at the Waterpark.)

Microwaves and Ice Machines:

  • LEGOLAND Hotel: Vending/Microwaves/Ice Machines are located on every floor next to the elevators.
  • Castle Hotel: Vending/Microwaves/Ice Machines are located by rooms 133, 233, and 333.

The LEGOLAND Hotel Arcade: Arcade hours are 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM everyday

Bell/Valet: Service is available from 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM.

Hotel Retail Shop: Open 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Express & Late Check Outs: Check out is at 11:00 AM. The final bill reflecting charges from your stay will be sent to the email on file. For guests with pre-purchased late check out, check out is at 1:00 PM.

We are a NON-SMOKING Property: There is a $500 charge for smoking in the room, Hotel, or on the Patio.

Candles: Candles of any kind are not permitted in the rooms.

Service Animals: We welcome Service Animals to the resort and ask that any emotional support animals or pets be left at home.
