The Mission Begins March 6!
Galacticoaster is an all-new LEGO® space coaster that blends thrilling ride action with immersive storytelling and hands-on customization for the whole family. As LEGOLAND®’s first new roller coaster in nearly 20 years, guests are recruited to the Briefing Room, design their own spacecraft, and launch into a personalized interstellar adventure filled with high-energy fun and iconic LEGO moments!

Get Ready for Launch!
The adventure begins long before launch, as guests step into the queue for Galacticoaster and are immediately immersed in a cinematic LEGO® space mission. Recruits report to the Briefing Room, where Chief Engineer Biff Dipper, a larger-than-life robotic minifigure, delivers mission instructions with humor, energy, and plenty of LEGO personality.
Through engaging storytelling and a first-of-its-kind pre-show experience, guests are officially welcomed to Galaxy Command and prepared for the journey ahead, building anticipation as the countdown to launch draws closer.
The Latest Technology
Before blast-off, recruits design their own spacecraft using interactive touchscreens, customizing nose, tail, wings, and special features to unlock more than 625 possible combinations. Each guest’s creation is digitally stored on an RFID wristband and brought to life throughout the ride—meaning riders soar through space in the very vehicle they designed.

As airlocks close and the launch sequence begins, Galacticoaster rockets through an intergalactic LEGO solar system filled with special effects, synchronized lighting, and surprise appearances from classic LEGO Space characters.
