Shark Exhibit and Ocean Tunnel
We have lots of awesome shark species, all with their own unique characteristics and fin-tastic personalities.
Visit our interactive shark exhibit and walk-through Ocean Tunnel to see shark species such as Grey Reef Sharks, Zebra Sharks, Bamboo Sharks, Blacktip Reef Sharks and Epaulette Sharks.
When you walk through our Ocean Tunnel, you get to see our sharks from six different viewpoints, so you won’t miss a thing!

Meet Different Species of Sharks
Take a journey beneath the waves and get to know our species of sharks. Here are some fun facts to get you started before you visit!
Learn all about the Zebra Shark, which is known for its striped appearance and slow ‘surfing’ of the ocean's current. Or, test your knowledge on the Epaulette Shark, a species of shark that can walk on land! You can also get to know more about the Grey Reef Shark, which is known to be a curious and slightly more aggressive species of shark.

Our shark feeding experiences are an awesome and interactive way to learn all about the sharks living at SEA LIFE® Carlsbad. Join us at select times during the day to watch our aquarists feed the sharks, stingrays and fish in our tropical ocean habitat.

The walk-through Ocean Tunnel, where you can see some of our sharks, is open between 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM. Take a look at our operating times when planning your visit.
Our Ocean Habitat Feed event happens at 1:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
