Absolutely! The drive from Los Angeles to Carlsbad is around 2 hours depending on traffic. If that drive is a bit too far, we recommend staying the night at LEGOLAND® Hotel or LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel.
If you're looking to experience exciting shows, fun meet & greets, and exclusive foods, then the best days to visit LEGOLAND® California are during the summer holidays, or to attend one of our seasonal events like Brick or Treat or the Holidays at LEGOLAND.
If you're looking to avoid crowds, then it's best to go on a weekday during the winter months. Please note that not all attractions may be open during this time.
The best way to travel to LEGOLAND® California without a car from Los Angeles is by taking the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner or the Metrolink Orange County line. The closest train stop to the Park is Carlsbad Poinsettia. From there, a bus or Uber/Lyft would need to take you to the Park entrance.
