LEGOLAND® Dubai Unveils Lost Kingdom Adventure

  • Tuesday May 3rd 2016

Highly anticipated attraction is the latest to near completion as the park prepares for October opening

As the journey to the October opening draws closer, LEGOLAND® Dubai part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region’s largest integrated theme park destination, unveils another of its attractions- Lost Kingdom Adventure, located in ADVENTURE one of the park’s six themed lands.

Designed to represent the ruins of an ancient, fictional Egyptian temple, Lost Kingdom Adventure invites young explorers on an escapade through ruins to recover a pharaoh’s stolen treasure. Created with the interaction of the entire family with children 2-12 in mind, guests are invited to climb onboard the ride’s family carriages equipped with high-tech laser blasters for an indoor, jam-packed experience brought to life by a captivating storyline.

Throughout the ride, explorers use the lasers to zap targets including cobras, jackals, skeletons, LEGO® mummies and more, earning points which they can track on digital scoring panels outfitted into the specially designed vehicles. Once finished with the ride, families and children can enjoy the other fun-filled activities in ADVENTURE such as Beetle Bounce, where kids will be boosted over 4.5 meters into the air for an up close and personal look at the gigantic LEGO® beetle. At Pharaoh’s Revenge, children and parents can fire hundreds of foam balls at targets (and each other!) or visit the Secret Chamber of Amset-Ra for an adventure themed LEGO building experience.

For a bit of water filled fun, ADVENTURE at LEGOLAND Dubai will also include Wave Racers where guests can power ski through waves and dodge surprise water blasts that are trigged from spectator stations. Aquatics enthusiasts will enjoy “taking the plunge” in Submarine Adventure, exploring a captivating under water landscape while also learning fun, educational facts about marine life.

“Lost Kingdom Adventure, is yet another significant addition to the list of attractions at LEGOLAND Dubai, which is the first of its kind in the region. We are confident that this fun-filled interactive experience will be a great hit with Dubai Parks and Resorts’ visitors, especially our younger guests as it’s packed with some of the best-known LEGO characters.” said Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts.

“We’re excited to unveil the Lost Kingdom Adventure,” states Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai. “ADVENTURE, along with our other themed lands, encompasses what LEGOLAND is all about- family friendly fun, designed with unique interactions, LEGO building experiences and playful learning in one place. Having a mix of indoor and outdoor elements, it is the perfect year round attraction. As we draw closer to our October opening and the finishing touches are completed, we look forward to continuing to share more details about what will be the ultimate theme park for families and children in the region.”
