Frequently Asked Questions

Your active Annual Passes and Play Passes have been automatically extended, so no further action is required on your part.

You will need to make advanced reservations for all future LEGOLAND Theme Park, LEGOLAND Water Park, and SEA LIFE Aquarium visits.

To make an advanced reservation, you’ll need to visit our new online Booking Portal.! You will need your Pass ID/Order #s on hand to complete the booking and reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only 1x reservation can be made per Member at a time. After your reservation date has commenced, you’ll be able to schedule your next reservation.

Play Pass and Annual Passes

Knowing we’ll have required capacity restrictions issued by the state when we first reopen, all active Play Passes and Annual Passes will receive a free 1-month extension on their Passes starting April 1, 2021 as a thank you for your patience and loyalty!

All regular Play Pass and Annual Pass benefits, and entitlements, will commence again from May 1, 2021.

All active Play Pass Holders and Annual Pass Members have received an extension in monthly increments depending on the amount of time LEGOLAND California was closed automatically (based on the time left of your Passes). No further action is required.

Monthly Pay Memberships (Purchased after July 19, 2019):

All remaining Monthly Pass benefits and monthly payments will commence once again from June 1, 2021.

Your Monthly Pay Memberships have been extended until May 31, 2021 on your behalf to compensate for payment made in March 2020 when the Resort closed.

Monthly Pay Memberships (Purchased before July 19, 2019):

Due to a change in our Resort Admission systems, all Monthly Pay Memberships purchased prior to July 9, 2019, will automatically be cancelled beginning June 1, 2021.

Your Monthly Pay Memberships have been extended until May 31, 2021 on your behalf to compensate for payment made in March 2020 when the Resort closed.

To make your advanced reservations*, please email Experience@LEGOLAND.com and use the word “Member Visit Request” in the subject line. Be sure to include your date request and member info.

*Reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis with limited capacity available. 

New Monthly Pass Memberships will be available for purchase online again at LEGOLAND.com/California in the coming months.

Your Ambassador Membership will allow you to visit LEGOLAND California Resort without an advanced reservation.

 

Ambassador Pass Cards

During our closure period, LEGOLAND California Resort has transitioned to a new admissions system. This will require all Ambassador Members to re-print their pass cards during the next visit to the Resort. Pass cards must be re-printed by December 31st, 2021. Please stop by the Guest Services windows, who can help take care of you. If you’re unable to visit Guest Services prior to December 31st 2021, please reach out to Experience@LEGOLAND.com.

 

Annual Model Builder Sessions

We’re excited to announce the dates of this year’s Annual Model Build Sessions! Reservations are required for one of the available dates and times:

  • November 6th
  • November 7th
  • November 13th

Two sessions available per day, 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm.

Sessions will occur outdoors on the Model Shop roof inside LEGOLAND California Resort.

 

Hurry, limited capacity is available and will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis so book your reservations today!

 

To book your reservations:

Email LLCAmbassadors@LEGOLAND.com with your top 3 preferred dates and times. A Guest Excellence Team Member will confirm your reservation if available via email.

 

Annual Complimentary Tickets

The LEGOLAND® California Ambassador Annual Complimentary tickets are now available on an electronic ticketing system for your convenience. If they haven’t been issued to you already, you’ll be eligible for four 1-Day tickets for the 2020 season and another four 1-Day tickets for the 2021 season. To be flexible, your 2020 and 2021 complimentary tickets can be issued any time prior to December 31, 2021 with no further extensions. Tickets will expire 1 year from issue date and cannot be replaced or honored past the expiration date.  

 

The LEGOLAND California complimentary admission tickets will be issued electronically under the Ambassador’s name but are still transferable to family and friends for use. As a reminder, Ambassador Members receive LEGOLAND only and Resort Ambassador Members receive LEGOLAND-SEA LIFE Hoppers.

 

To receive your annual complimentary 1-day tickets, you may choose one of the following options:

 

1. E-Tickets sent directly to your email address. To receive your complimentary tickets via email, please send an email to LLCAmbassadors@LEGOLAND.com and include:

  • Your first name
  • Last name
  • Membership ID number

 

Please provide full details of all Ambassador Members within your household if you’d like all tickets sent in the same email.

 

2. Park Pick-up: If you would like to pick-up your complimentary tickets at the Park, please visit Guest Services with your Membership ID card from now through December 31, 2021.

 

LLCAmbassadors@LEGOLAND.com is only available for ticket requests for the Complimentary tickets distribution and not general inquires. If you have other questions regarding your pass or the Resort, please email us at Experience@LEGOLAND.com.

 

Please note that only 2020-2021 complimentary tickets can be issued through December 31, 2021. If you have not claimed your 2019 complimentary tickets, they can no longer be issued. Tickets not claimed from previous years are not available and unredeemed expired tickets from previous years are not valid for admission.

Yes, refunds will be issued automatically on your behalf for those who purchased an event ticket between April 1 – May 2 excluding any add-on purchases.


Active Pass Holders will not need to re-book their advanced reservations for April and May and will just need to bring their original BUILD ‘N PLAY Days confirmation as verification for entry.

Because you have not yet processed your COSTCO Play Pass, GROUPON Pass, or Military Pass voucher with our admissions system, your Pass is not yet compatible with our online Booking Portal to make advanced reservations.


You will need to visit our Guest or Membership Services windows at the front entrance between April 15 – September 30, 2021, no sooner or later, Monday – Friday days only. Advance reservations are not required as long as you visit within the acceptable date and day ranges. Weekend walk-up visits will not be accepted or processed due to capacity restrictions.

If you purchased your Annual Pass online on our website, you’ll be able to schedule an advanced reservation on the online Booking Portal for Passes. You will need to get your Annual Pass membership card on your first visit. Walk-up visits from Annual Pass Members will not be accepted or processed. Your 12-month membership will commence from the first day of your visit.

All Passes will be extended to account for the period of time that LEGOLAND was closed. We’ll be taking care of this for you, so there’s no need to get in touch with our Guest Experience team. You are not required to have your Pass card reprinted.

We are not offering refunds to those who have paid for the Annual Pass as this is a non-refundable product.

Monthly Pay Members did not pay monthly for the period of time that LEGOLAND was closed. Your obligation to make monthly payments will resume on June 1, 2021 after your free 1-month extension in April, and admission during the month of May, ends.

As per the terms of the contract, you will continue to be billed after the 12-month contract date on your contract until you cancel.  As this is a 12-month contract we’re unable to cancel your Membership.

No, only accounts in good standing that are up to date on their payments will be suspended based on the amount of time we are closed. If your account is delinquent, your account is subject to the Terms and Conditions of a non-paid account. The 45-day default period will proceed where it left off starting May 1.

The number of days your account may be in default is 45 before your account is permanently closed.  The days we are closed do not apply to the 45-day default period. You can update your payment details here on our Payment Portal.

*Pass is valid for 12 months from date of purchase and expiration dates cannot be modified.

Don’t worry – All LEGOLAND Hotel guests are guaranteed access to the theme park, aquarium, and water park during your stay. Please make your Pass reservations for the theme park, aquarium and water park as necessary the first day of your stay and your second day reservations can be confirmed at the front desk of the Hotel during your stay.
