COVID-19 – INFORMATION FOR GUESTS

CARLSBAD, CA (Friday, March 27, 2020) --- With the recent state order to all Californians to stay home and the rapid changes in the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, LEGOLAND® California Resort will extend the closure of its theme park, water park, SEA LIFE® Aquarium and LEGOLAND® Hotels until April 15, 2020.

The health and safety of our guests and our staff remains our top priority and we’ll continue to follow the safety measures recommended within the federal, state and CDC guidelines.

We are currently experiencing exceptionally high call volume and apologize for any delays to our normal service.  We are working tirelessly to serve everyone impacted by this situation and ask for your help so we can prioritize guests with trips planned in the next 72 hours. If your trip is not within the next 72 hours, please wait until closer to your scheduled arrival date to contact us.  Please be assured that we will work with you to reschedule or cancel your reservation without penalty, even if you aren’t able to reach us prior to your scheduled arrival date.  

If you have a reservation to stay with us on or before April 14, 2020, please consider the following options:
          1. If your arrival is scheduled for April 14, 2020 or earlier, you may reschedule to a later date without penalty or additional charge (excluding the month of July 2020, and December 26, 2020 – January 3, 2021). If you wish to move your reservation to a date within the excluded period, we will apply the full value of your original reservation to the new package price.
          2. Cancel your reservation for a full a refund.

We recognize that these are unsettling times, and whether you are traveling now or in the future, we want you to know that your safety and well-being are our first priorities.  Whenever you do travel, we will be waiting to serve you!

LEGOLAND Vacations and LEGOLAND Hotel Guests

We will work with you to change or cancel your reservation if it falls during the impacted period. You may contact us in one of two ways:

  1. Call our LEGOLAND Vacations Customer Service Center at (833) 710-5346 between 8 AM – 3 PM Pacific Time, seven days a week. We anticipate extremely high call volume over the coming weeks and appreciate your patience as our team works through all inquiries.
  2. Email HotelReservations@LEGOLAND.com and include your Name, Booking Confirmation Number and Phone Number, and we will follow up with you in due course.

LEGOLAND Day Ticket Holders

Tickets Purchased online at LEGOLAND.com:
For guests who have unused LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Water Park tickets that are dated or expire within the impacted period (February 1, 2020 – April 14, 2020), expiration dates have been automatically extended until December 31, 2020 or up to one year after the expiration date listed on the original ticket to allow flexibility for use.

For guests who have purchased the 5 Days for the Price of 1 Day ticket offer, the expiration date of these tickets have been automatically extended with a new expiration date of December 30, 2020 with first visit having to have occurred by December 25, 2020.

Tickets Purchased from a Third Party (Not purchased directly from LEGOLAND):
Ticket expiration dates are usually valid for up to one year. Please contact the third-party vendor where purchased directly for any questions or concerns. 

COSTCO Buddy Tickets + Play Pass Redemption
Unused Buddy Ticket expiration dates have been extended to visit through June 30th 2020, excluding Memorial Day Weekend (May 22nd – 25th 2020). 
Play Pass redemption deadline has been extended to May 29th, 2020.

San Diego Go Card

School Groups, Youth Groups and Scouts
We will work with your group on changes to your reservations for those who have reservations during the impacted period of February 1, 2020 – April 14, 2020).

Please call our Groups Call Center at 760-438-5346. Available 7 Days a week, 9am – 5pm PST. We anticipate high call volumes over the next few days and appreciate your patience as our team works through all inquiries.

VIP Experiences
We will work with your VIP group on changes to your reservations for those who have reservations during the impacted period of February 1, 2020 – April 14, 2020.
Please email LLCVIP@LEGOLAND.com and someone will come back to you to assist moving your reservation. 

LEGOLAND Annual Passes, Monthly Pay Memberships, and Play Pass Holders*

All active Annual Pass Members and Play Pass Holders, who are not currently enrolled in Monthly Pay, will receive an extension of one month or more depending on the amount of time LEGOLAND California is closed.

All active Monthly Pay Pass Members in good standing will have their April monthly payment suspended. There may be further adjustments depending on how long LEGOLAND California is closed.
