While there are many hands-on activities at the Resort, some attractions such as Miniland, are for viewing enjoyment only. It is the responsibility of each parent or guardian to supervise those under their care while in the Resort. Each attraction experience is uniquely different. Ride and attraction participation requirements are determined by the ride dynamics, the restraint system used and recommendations made by the manufacturer. Ride and attraction information and restrictions (such as height, health, size and age) are posted at each location. Do not sit or play on railings or chains. We appreciate your understanding of our need to provide a safe environment for all our guests.
Safety restrictions and physical considerations are posted at individual rides and attractions. Please take a moment to read them carefully before considering a ride or attraction for you or your child. Guests choosing to experience a ride or attraction should be in good health and free from, among other things, high blood pressure, heart, back, or neck problems; motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by a specific ride or attraction. For your safety, exceptions are not possible.

Due to unpredictable surface conditions, environment and park capacity, Segway use is prohibited to ensure the safety of all guests who visit LEGOLAND California.

- Observe ride in operation and all ride restriction signs prior to boarding.
- Read and listen to all rules and verbal instructions and clarify with younger children.
- Obey all height and age restrictions for each area and attraction.
- Make sure seat belts and safety restraints are secure and snug.
- Keep arms, hands, legs, feet and head inside ride vehicle at all times.
- Stay seated until ride comes to a final stop at unloading point and you have been instructed to exit the vehicle.
- If ride stops before the unloading point, remain seated; wait for ride to restart or for further instruction from the operator.
- Watch your step while entering and exiting rides and attractions.
- Keep children off railings, chains and structures throughout the Park.
- DO NOT retrieve lost articles from rides without help from the attendant.
- Keep children out of water features, water landscapes and fenced water areas.
- Secure all camera, glasses, hats and loose articles of clothing, especially on rides.
- Please do not leave children unattended in stroller and use stroller safety belts.
- One slider at a time on all slides.
- Slide feet first only.
- Never go down a slide with child on your lap or between your legs.
- Remove all drawstrings and chords to prevent entanglement of clothing.
- Child harnesses are not permitted on rides.
CELL PHONE USAGE - Never enter restricted areas. There are certain areas of attractions off limits to guests for safety and security reasons. Posted signs should never be ignored and guests should never go over a fence or around a barricade.
Be responsible and respectful of other guests. Keep your eyes up while walking. One way to avoid bumping into each other or stationary objects, like trash cans, and to avoid trips and falls is to pay attention to where you are walking at all times.
Do not take phones or cameras on rides. Guests should be mindful of any ride or attraction guidelines that restrict cell phones and cameras. Even if it is in your pocket, objects can fall out during a ride and hurt someone. And, the phone or camera will most likely be damaged beyond repair.
FIRST AID - Qualified first aid personnel are located in the First Aid building on the pathway between The Beginning and the Imagination Zone and in the LEGOLAND Water Park near the Locker Rentals. For immediate assistance, please notify any Model Citizen.
GUEST SERVICES - Located in The Beginning and at the Water Park.
RE-ADMITTANCE - Please remember to get your hand stamped before exiting for same day re-admittance. You can also upgrade your admission ticket to a 2-day ticket for just a few dollars more. Inquire at Guest Services. Refunds or exchanges are not possible in the event of inclement weather or attraction closures.
BABY CARE CENTER - A microwave, bottle warmers, high chairs, rockers for nursing moms and baby change facilities are all available. In addition, all restrooms (male and female) Park-wide have diaper change tables and family restrooms available with the exception of Pizza & Pasta Buffet.
LOCKERS - Lockers are available for rent at the Marketplace in The Beginning, the restrooms at Pirate Shores and in the Water Park. A fully refundable deposit is required on locker rentals at Marketplace only.
LOST & FOUND - Please report any lost articles or return any found items to Guest Services or any Park Ranger. Management declares itself not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of personal property.
LOST PARENTS - Children can wait for lost parents at Guest Services in The Beginning or at Guest Services in the Water Park. If you become separated from your child, please contact a Park Ranger or other LEGOLAND Model Citizen.
PACKAGE PICKUP SERVICE - Make your purchases at any one of our retail locations and then pick them up at the Marketplace Package Pickup area as you leave the Park. Please allow two hours between purchase and pickup.
STROLLER/WHEELCHAIR RENTAL - Strollers, wheelchairs and powered scooters are available for rent at the Marketplace In The Beginning on a first-come, first-served basis.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES – Rides, attractions and shows at the Resort are accessible to disabled guests, depending on the nature of their disability. Details of health restrictions are posted at each ride or attraction. A special brochure is available at Guest Services that outlines our facilities and general access in greater detail. For more specific information, see Guest Services. Standard and motorized wheelchairs are available to all guests; no other wheeled (motorized or non-motorized) personal transportation devices are allowed at the Resort.
SERVICE ANIMALS - Service animals are welcome in most locations throughout the Park and can accompany a guest via the standard queue up to the loading point. However, due to safety restrictions, service animals are not allowed to accompany a guest on a ride. Service animals must be on a leash at all times. Any show of hostile behavior towards other guests or Model Citizens is unacceptable. Service animals may not be handled by or left with other guests or Model Citizens.
RECYCLING - LEGOLAND is committed to protecting the environment. We ask for your assistance by disposing of your aluminum cans, plastic bottles and Park maps in the recycling containers located throughout the Resort.
RESORT SECURITY AND COURTESY - Tickets and Memberships are NOT for resale and loitering on Resort premises is strictly prohibited. Video surveillance cameras are in use at various locations around the Park. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. In order to help maintain our family atmosphere, we request that there be no offensive language or behavior. No offensive or rude clothing is allowed. Segways, roller blades, wheeled shoes and skateboards are prohibited. For the comfort of those around you, we request there be no flash photography, smoking, eating or drinking in any attraction. Park Rangers patrol all areas of the Park and are more than happy to help or advise. No weapons of any kind are allowed on Park property. LEGOLAND California is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. LEGOLAND California reserves the right to search/inspect any item.
SMOKING POLICY - In keeping with our child-friendly atmosphere, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Resort. Use designated smoking areas located outside of the main entrance. Please remember to get your hand stamped before exiting for re-admittance.
FOOD AND ALCOHOL - Outside coolers, food and beverages may not be brought into the Park or Water Park. However, exceptions are made for infants and those with special medical needs. Alcohol may not be brought onto LEGOLAND Resort property.
COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY - All LEGOLAND Resort attractions, rides and LEGO brick models are protected by copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs or videotape of LEGOLAND images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing, or publishing in any medium. By entering LEGOLAND Resort, each guest consents to the use of his or her likeness in photographs or video taken by the Resort for advertising and other promotional purposes without payment.
WATER PARK SAFETY - Be sure to read all safety signs and to listen to all lifeguard instructions. For your protection, safety rules are strictly enforced. Anyone not adhering to these rules and/or procedures may be asked to leave without refund. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
FIRST AID - Qualified first aid personnel are located in First Aid next to the changing rooms/lockers. For immediate assistance, please notify a lifeguard or any LEGOLAND Model Citizen.
LIFEGUARDS - Water Park lifeguards use one whistle blast to gain the attention of guests. Please respond promptly to instructions given by lifeguards or LEGOLAND Model Citizens.
PERSONAL HYGIENE - It Is not recommended to drink pool water. Diapers must only be changed in the restrooms or changing rooms. For the safety of all guests, please take frequent restroom breaks and do not enter the water if you have an illness. Please shower before entering water.
CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS - Management reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of swimwear. Some attractions may require riders to be free of metal or plastic ornamentation on clothing (rivets). Appropriate clothing is required for all guests. No pants, wet suits, buckles, belts, visible undergarments, transparent attire, or denim are allowed in water attractions. Images displayed on your person must be appropriate for a family atmosphere. Diaper-age children must wear an approved swim diaper in order to participate in water attractions. Swim diapers are available for purchase at Brick Brothers in Fun Town.
FLOATATION DEVICES - U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal life jackets and infant flotation devices are permitted for use on some attractions. Personal flotation devices such as lounge floats, water wings, toys, masks and personal body boards are not permitted for any reason.
WATER PARK RE-ADMITTANCE - Re-admittance to the Water Park is not guaranteed except for guests with a Cabana Rental wristband.
LOST PARENTS - Any child appearing to be lost will be taken to the Water Park Guest Services. If you are separated from your child, please ask any Model Citizen for assistance.
LOCKERS/CHANGING ROOMS - Please use designated changing rooms to change into swimwear.
LOUNGE CHAIRS/CABANAS - Chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cabanas are available for rental based on availability. Visit Guest Services for assistance, cabana info, or upgrades. Personal beach or lounge chairs are not permitted.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Stereos or outside music are not allowed at any time. No running, diving, or horseplay in the Water Park. No coolers, food, glass, or outside pets. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in LEGOLAND California or the LEGOLAND Water Park. Designated smoking areas are located outside of the LEGOLAND California entrance. LEGOLAND Resort is not responsible for children who exit unattended.
