Field Trips

Every year, on field trips to LEGOLAND California, thousands of students power cars with solar energy, run robots with 21st century technology, explore machines and national landmarks built to scale they can understand - all without cracking a book - and they have fun!

If you love learning, take part in a new adventure and let LEGOLAND lead the way. LEGOLAND Educational Field Trip programs include full-day admission to more than 50 rides, shows and attractions as well as a Teacher Guide that references California Content Standards.

Instructional Field Trips

Instructional field trip programs include a 45 minute, hands-on class led by LEGOLAND Education staff, plus a Teacher Guide, including California Content Standards references, and full day admission to LEGOLAND California.

Pirate School
Come aboard, mateys! Read pirate tales, build a LEGO pirate ship, make a hat, and try on pirate garb - tattoos optional! Teacher Guide includes background information about real pirate life.

It's a gold medal for all who play! Build the limbo, long jump and more with giant LEGO® Soft bricks.

Building America

Discover stories behind American landmarks, icons and heroes. Explore the U.S. Capitol Building, The White House and other presidential monuments. Take a boat cruise past the Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore, identify differences in culture and geography between rural and urban California.

Get to know famous places built to a scale that students will understand and remember. Learn history without cracking a book on this self-guided historical scavenger hunt. Teacher Guide includes standards-based historical background information and activities.

Dig Those Dinos
Experience Dino Island at your own pace - Dig for "fossils" and use the Teacher Guide and interactive Fossil Station to learn about prehistoric life. Self-guided groups rent or bring shovels and brushes if desired.
